Thank you for your interest in our new eLearning course for Journalism Students. This free interactive eLearning program prepares students to navigate and defuse instances of online harassment through proven bystander intervention strategies.
Journalists have a powerful responsibility - to amplify voices, expose truths, and shape the conversations that guide society. However, the nature of this work often makes reporters a target for online hate and harassment from those threatened by their reporting. This course is a supportive tool to address this growing threat.
When you fill out the applicable fields below and click submit you will receive instructions on how to access this asynchronous digital course via email.
We are able to offer this program for free thanks to funding from the Scripps Howard Fund and The Craig Newmark Foundation and the support of various Coalition Against Online Violence members.
